You might not know this about me

Here’s something you might not know about me. I love beginnings. Whenever I find myself at the beginning of anything, like a new project or a trip I’ve planned, or a new friendship, or the beginning of anything really, I get so excited and so delighted, I can barely wait to start. Especially when I travel (and I noticed this the other day when I took Mario away for his Birthday to the Gold Coast) I love the beginning part – the start of the journey and the anticipation of what’s to come. I just love getting to the airport early and feeling

#REALITYSNAP 5

Persistence is another one of the keys to success! Just like consistency that we spoke about last week, persistence is also paramount if you want to achieve anything in life or business. My definition of persistence? It’s one’s ability to stick to something: Even when it looks like it’s not working. Even when your friends and family think you’re crazy Even when your ego and fear kick in to tell you, you have failed. If you believe in what you’re doing but obstacles and challenges arise, you can either: Buy into your FEAR and the fear of others around you,

Don’t make change too complicated, just begin.

Change is the only constant. By definition, the fact that we’re alive means we’re constantly changing, even if by force sometimes. Life has a way of ensuring we do. Most of us don’t like change, so we resist it and try to prevent it from happening and that just complicates things. Life isn’t meant to be complicated. Yes sometimes life brings us to certain problems and situations in order to take us through them, to the other side, to help us learn and grow and this may seem difficult at the time… But often once we accept and decide to go through the ‘change’ that has presented

If wishes were enough…

Hi my dear, “If wanting and wishing and hoping were enough we’d all be skinny billionaires”. When I first heard a former coach of mine make this statement, I laughed out loud. A kind of laugh that eventually tapers off to a sobering moment of realisation… where something just clicks. I’m sure you’ve had one of these moments before? She went on to explain the difference between wishes and desires and I got it. A wish, a hope, a want, a dream remains as such if its not investigated further and if massive steps are not taken to make it

Freedom of Choice – To be in charge of your destiny

I have a dream. That all women one day will be in charge of their destiny! That they can stay or leave any situation. Start or stop whatever they want. Begin or end something that feels right to them… or choose anything else in between. I have a dream. That all women one day can walk towards, or walk away from whatever situation arises in their life. To or from anything…or anyone…No matter what the circumstances – job, career, relationship, business, marriage, partnership, family etc. That they have a choice. And more importantly, that they have the means (ie the freedom) with

Looking back from the future in January 2017…

Hope your 2016 is off to an amazing start! And you are enjoying all that January has to offer. Whether its summer or winter for you in your part of the world, the month of January is right in the heart of it.  And being the first month of the year it’s also a time of reflection, re-thinking and re-planning for most people. I personally love January. Apart from being my birthday month, its also summer here in Sydney and it seems everyone is on holidays. I took some time out over this last month to holiday with my family

Thank you

To be honest I wasn’t always grateful for the cancer.. or the divorce.. or the illness and passing of my beautiful mother… Now of course I see them all as blessings in my life. It’s easy to be grateful for the things that work out… the wins, the successes, the good times. But its often not so easy to be grateful for the things that happen in life that we didn’t want….the losses, the failures, the bad times… What I know for sure having lived 46 years on this planet, is that itsthose things, the ‘bad things’, the ‘losses’, the ‘failures’,

Overwhelmed? Here’s my number one tip!

I don’t have a crystal ball, but I can almost bet that with only a month and a half left till the end of the year and the festive season just around the corner… you’re probably feeling a little OVERWHELMED right about now. Well am I right? If you’re anything like the rest of the human race, this time of year you will be B-U-S-Y! And you may be experiencing what I call PCT (Pre Christmas Tension) a.k.a. major Overwhelm (a feeling we get when we are doing other things for other people rather than what we know in our intuition/ heart /mind we are meant to

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at the RebeccaSophia HeadQuarters. We’ve been on-boarding new participants to the Takeoff in your Life and Business group program, selling and buying houses, planning some new projects, hiring new staff… and it seems we’re not the only ones. It looks like almost everyone’s got the memo, that the end of the year is fast approaching and the New Year is well and truly on its way! The women in my group program certainly got the memo and just by joining the program, they have taken the necessary steps to prepare themselves for

A busy week. Can you relate?

Can you relate? This week I felt like I wanted to circuit break my life.  Flip a switch and stop the crazy busy-ness and just take a breather. Can you relate? So I decided to do just that – treat myself to a mid-week, mid-launch circuit-breaking breather. I hopped on a plane and flew up to the Gold Coast here in Australia. And after just 2 days and a little R&R (beach, sun, gorgeous food, white Moet on ice at the Verscace…) mixed in with doing work I love, I must say that… …I feel like a new woman! This
